My what an insightful sermon. Exhaustion or peace, peace or exhaustion, sort of a no brainer after all. Thank you Bishop!

I for one would miss your podcasts. Even a few times a week would be just great!

God's Peace be yours,

M+

Thank you, Madge! Through the sabbatical I'll take up a slower pace. Once mid-September gets here I'll see what my energies feel like. Bless you friend!

I also enjoy your podcasts, but as a fellow Substack writer, I know the demands on one's time to create meaningful pieces to share with others. I say do what works for you and your schedule. We'll be here whenever you post.

That’s good to hear, Angie. Thank you! For sure I’ll slow down for my sabbatical. When I return I’ll gauge my energy levels.

Dear Jake, you asked for feedback about podcast posting. Because you ask, and speaking for myself, I must assure you that I love hearing the podcasts. This is not mere politeness! I've been especially pleased when I've found that you're sharing a sermon you've taken recently - it's wonderful to know what you're currently preaching and to hear the actual delivery. Perhaps especially so now, given all the political goings-on. It's always a pleasure to hear you again, never otherwise. You must do what works for you and that's priority of course but I've been enjoying these podcasts so much, and I'm now becoming accustomed to it being a sermon, and I find myself looking forward to them with anticipation. So I'd miss those 'gaps' if you drop some, I'm not going to pretend otherwise. But I also understand if maybe you're finding there's just too many things to juggle! Take care.

Thanks, Liz! You’re so supportive and encouraging. This gives me more to think about. During sabbatical I’ll cut back and see what my energies are like in September
